Antifreeze Liquids And Other Chemical Liquids COOLANT Concentrate SI-OAT is a concentrated (antifreeze) based on monoethylene glycol. This product uses the latest antifreeze technology that combines the benefits of both organic technology and traditional mineral (silicate) technology.
This refrigerant is suitable for use in gasoline and diesel engines and has been introduced to meet the requirements of OEMs that favor this combination of organic and silicate technology.
The company Top-system presents from the WEG brand a concentrated antifreeze based on monoethylene glycol the

Add-ons
Add-ons
Carefully selected additives provide the following properties in aqueous mixtures:
• Increased service life, allowing less frequent maintenance, thanks to corrosion inhibitors that have a very low depletion rate.
• Thermal characteristics that allow efficient cooling of the engine without boiling.
• Removal of abrasive solids, which provides better protection to the water pump joints.
• Environmentally friendly as free of borates, phosphates, nitrites and amines.
• Frost protection, depending on the selected concentration.
• Excellent foaming characteristics.
• Meet most European and international standards.
Compatibility
Compatibility
This refrigerant is designed to withstand all water qualities and is compatible with hard water, however the use of deionized or hardened water is recommended. The antifreeze mixes easily with all engine antifreeze fluids, but we recommend not mixing organic additives with traditional inorganic refrigerants, as optimal performance and longevity can only be ensured by using the WEG Coolant Concentrate SI-OAT only.
To ensure a satisfactory level of corrosion protection, it is recommended to use at least 33% (1: 2) volume of WEG Coolant Concentrate SI-OAT in the refrigerant solution. According to most car manufacturers, a 50% (1: 1) volume solution is recommended for optimal performance. For cold climates use volume 67% (2: 1), concentrations above 67% are not recommended and do not give an advantage
Corrosion protection
Corrosion protection
Corrosion protection is the most important function of a refrigerant concentrate and is achieved by using a well-balanced inhibitor option. In modern engines with greater use of aluminum alloys and thinner castings, avoiding corrosion problems is crucial. The WEG Coolant Concentrate SI-OAT inhibitor package is the result of very extensive tests including laboratory tests, service test simulations, static engine tests and field tests. It also successfully completes the FVV Heft R443 / 1986 test. WEG Coolant Concentrate SI-OAT provides additional protection to alloys used in the cooling system of modern vehicles, especially high-performance engines.
Performance
Performance
WEG Coolant Concentrate SI-OAT is an extended-life antifreeze that must be replaced every five years or every 250,000 km for passenger cars or every 1,000,000 km for trucks and commercial vehicles. The recommendations of the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) should be followed when changing the cooling systems.
